Spartanburg, SC Porta Potty Rental, Booked Ahead from Anderson

How far ahead should Spartanburg orders be booked?

Spartanburg is about 65 miles from our Anderson yard. Spartanburg County sits outside the 6 counties where we offer standard same-day delivery, so same-day happens only when a truck has spare room. Book job sites 2 to 3 business days ahead and weekend events at least 1 week ahead.

We would rather tell you the real day than promise a time we cannot keep. Call (864) 209-8789 to check the next open Spartanburg run.

Which Spartanburg jobs fit our service best?

Long jobs fit Spartanburg best, because the 65-mile drive is charged once on the first cycle. Construction sites, plant projects and month-long rentals all run on 28-day cycles with weekly service. Planned weekend events also work well. Last-minute single-day rentals are harder to schedule from our Anderson yard.

Weekly service for Spartanburg units runs on a set route day, which we confirm on the first delivery. Extra service visits can be added for large summer crews.

See the long-term rental page and the industrial restroom page for crew setups.

Where do Spartanburg builders get permits?

Builders in unincorporated Spartanburg County use Spartanburg County Building Codes in the Administration Building at 366 North Church Street. The office keeps hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Projects inside city limits also check with the City of Spartanburg. OSHA sets 1 toilet per 20 workers as the job-site minimum.

County details are on the Spartanburg County Building Codes page.

The federal toilet table is in OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51. Our OSHA guide explains it in plain terms; this is not legal advice.

What about events during Spring Fling downtown?

Spring Fling is downtown Spartanburg's spring street festival, usually in April, with road closures across downtown. The organizers handle restrooms for the festival itself. Private events near the closures need units dropped on private property before streets close, so book a day-before delivery at least 1 week ahead.

Check the year's road closure map before you pick a drop spot. Our truck cannot reach a spot behind a barricade.

For any event, our sizing rule is 1 standard unit per 50 guests for up to 4 hours. Larger crowds should read the festival restroom page.

Which units work for a dressier Spartanburg event?

Dressier Spartanburg events usually choose a deluxe flushing unit or a restroom trailer. The deluxe unit has a foot-pump flush, an interior sink and about 24 percent more room than a standard unit. A 2-station restroom trailer adds flushing toilets, vanity sinks, mirrors and climate control.

The deluxe unit needs no hookup. The trailer needs a 110-volt, 20-amp outlet within 100 feet and a hose or tank fill.

Compare the deluxe porta potty with our restroom trailers.

What should a Spartanburg site have ready before the truck arrives?

A Spartanburg site needs 4 things ready before our truck makes the 65-mile run: a marked spot, a firm path, gate access and a contact phone. A missed drop means rescheduling to the next route day. Inside 24 hours of delivery, a cancellation trip fee may apply.

1. Mark a level spot with a cone, stake or ribbon.
2. Clear 10 feet of path for the hand truck.
3. Share gate codes or site check-in names.
4. Give a phone number the driver can reach.

Your Spartanburg driver calls about 30 minutes ahead. You do not need to be on site if the spot is marked.

What happens if a Spartanburg job ends early or runs late?

A Spartanburg job that ends early stops billing with the 28-day cycle in which we pick up the unit. A job that runs late rolls into the next cycle with weekly service. Pickup is free, and we schedule it on the next Spartanburg route day after you call or text.

Give us a few days' notice for pickup when you can. The route day may be 1 or 2 days after your request.

The full rules are on the rental terms page.
