How is a deluxe unit different from a standard porta potty?
A deluxe unit adds 2 things a standard unit lacks: a foot-pump flush and a sink with running fresh water. The PolyJohn Fleet is also about 24 percent roomier inside. Guests see clean blue water in the bowl instead of the tank below, which matters at weddings and showers.

The flush is the biggest change. A foot pedal rinses the bowl with fresh water, so the next guest never looks into the holding tank.
The sink means guests wash with soap and water without walking to a separate station. For a side-by-side look at every unit, see all rental units compared.
PolyJohn Fleet tech specs
The PolyJohn Fleet fresh-water flush model measures 91 inches tall, 47 inches wide and 48 inches deep. The flush model weighs about 243 pounds and holds 60 gallons of waste. The Fleet is 3.5 inches wider than our standard unit, so gate and path width matter more.
| Spec | PolyJohn Fleet (fresh-water flush) |
|---|---|
| Outside size | 91 in H × 47 in W × 48 in D |
| Weight | 243 lb (flush model) |
| Waste tank | 60 gal |
| Flush | Foot pump, fresh water |
| Sink | Inside, foot pump |
| Interior room | About 24% larger than a standard unit |
| Hookups | None |
Specs come from the PolyJohn Fleet product page. Plan a path at least 48 inches wide from the truck to the spot.

(864) 209-8789Free quoteHow can a sink work with no water hookup?
A deluxe unit carries its own fresh water tank, so the sink and flush need 0 hookups. We fill the tank with clean water at delivery. A foot pump pushes water to the faucet and the bowl, and used water drains into the 60-gallon waste tank. No hose or outlet is required.
Nothing plugs in. Pressing the foot pedal moves water from the clean tank to the faucet or the bowl.
- We fill the fresh water tank at delivery.
- We add soap, paper towels and toilet paper.
- Guests pump water with their foot, so hands stay off the controls.
- Used water goes to the waste tank, which we pump at pickup or service.
That makes the deluxe unit a good fit for a lawn, a pasture or a lake lot where a restroom trailer can't get power or water.
How many flushes before the fresh water runs low?
Flush count depends on the fresh tank, so we size deluxe units by guest count and hours, not a fixed number. For a 4-hour party of 50, 1 filled unit is usually enough. For long receptions or large crowds, we add a second unit or a refill visit before guests notice.
Each flush and each hand wash uses fresh water from the same onboard tank. A busy sink empties the tank faster than the flush does.
| Event | What we usually plan |
|---|---|
| Shower or party, 50 guests, 4 hours | 1 deluxe unit, filled at delivery |
| Wedding, 120 guests, 6 hours | 2 or more deluxe units, or deluxe plus standard units |
| Two-day event | Refill visit between days |
| Multi-week rental | Weekly service includes a fresh refill |
Give us the guest count and the hours when you ask for a quote and we size the water for you.
Deluxe unit or standard unit plus a hand wash station?
Choose a deluxe unit when looks and a flush matter for a group under about 100. Choose standard units plus a two-station hand wash when you need more toilets for the money. The PolyJohn Bravo hand wash gives about 350 washes per fill, more than a deluxe unit's single sink.
| Factor | Deluxe unit | Standard + hand wash station |
|---|---|---|
| Flush | Foot-pump flush | No flush |
| Sink location | Inside, private | Outside, shared, two people at once |
| Hand wash capacity | Limited by one onboard tank | About 350 washes per Bravo fill |
| Guest impression | Closer to an indoor restroom | Basic but clean |
| Best crowd | Showers, small weddings, funerals | Big cookouts, fairs, ball games |
Many hosts mix both: one deluxe unit for the wedding party and standard units with a hand wash station for everyone else. See wedding restroom planning for layouts.
Which events call for a deluxe unit?
Deluxe units suit events where guests dress up or stay seated for 3 hours or more: weddings, showers, graduation parties, funerals and company dinners. Older guests also value the extra room. A deluxe unit fits where a 20-foot restroom trailer can't, such as a backyard behind a fence.
- Backyard weddings and receptions where the house bathroom is off-limits.
- Funeral receptions and family reunions with grandparents and young kids.
- Bridal and baby showers where a sink inside matters.
- Office cookouts held at a park pavilion or a lot.

Can a deluxe unit stay out in cold weather?
Anderson's January low averages 32.5 degrees, so fresh water in a deluxe unit can freeze on cold nights. For winter events we watch the forecast and may suggest a standard unit with sanitizer. A flush or sink that freezes stops working until the water thaws.
Freezing is mostly a December to February issue in the Upstate. Daytime events usually stay above freezing.
If a hard freeze is forecast, we can deliver the morning of the event instead of the day before, or switch you to a standard unit with sanitizer. Long winter rentals, such as a camper living setup, often work better with standard units.
Questions renters ask before booking
How much is a deluxe flushable porta potty with a sink?
A deluxe flushing unit with a sink starts at $295 for an event, with delivery and pickup within 25 miles of Anderson. Refill visits, mileage beyond 25 miles and SC sales tax show as separate lines on the itemized quote, which is final.
Do I need to add water to the deluxe unit myself?
We fill the fresh water tank and add flush chemistry at delivery, so you add nothing. If the event runs long or the crowd is large, tell us and we schedule a refill visit.
Does the deluxe unit need power?
The deluxe unit needs zero power. The flush and the sink run on foot pumps, so the unit works on a lawn, in a pasture or at a lake lot with no outlet.
Is a deluxe unit worth it for 40 guests?
For 40 guests at a dress-up event, one deluxe unit usually covers a 4-hour party and looks better than a standard unit. For a casual cookout, a standard unit plus hand sanitizer costs less.
Can I keep a deluxe unit for a month while my bathroom is redone?
Deluxe units can stay on 28-day cycles with weekly service that includes a fresh water refill. Long-term deluxe pricing is quoted for your address, since service visits carry water as well as pumping.
Will a deluxe unit fit through a 4-foot gate?
A 4-foot gate is 48 inches wide and the Fleet is 47 inches wide, so the fit is very tight. Measure the gate between the posts and text us a photo before delivery day.
