(864) 209-8789Free quoteWill the unit fit through my gate or driveway?
A standard porta potty needs a clear path at least 44 inches wide, so a 36-inch garden gate is too narrow. The deluxe unit needs 48 inches, and the accessible unit needs about 68 inches. Restroom trailers need a straight driveway wide enough for a pickup truck and roughly 20 feet of level parking.
Slide to your measurement. Each unit outline matches its real width from the maker.
- Measure the narrowest point between the street and your spot, including gates and posts.
- Check for steps, steep slopes or soft lawn. Units roll on a hand truck and cannot climb stairs.
- Look up for low branches and wires if a trailer is coming.
- Text us a photo of the route when you book. The driver reads your notes before leaving the yard.

Which unit fits which job?
Construction crews, ball fields and backyard parties of up to 50 guests fit a standard porta potty. Weddings of 100 or more guests usually justify a restroom trailer or deluxe units. Public events need at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit per cluster, and any job serving food needs a hand washing station beside the toilets.
| Job | First choice | Add-on | Read more |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home build or roofing crew | Standard, 28-day cycle | Hand wash station | Construction rentals |
| Backyard birthday or graduation | Standard, Friday to Monday | Hand wash station | Party and event rentals |
| Wedding, 80 to 150 guests | Restroom trailer or deluxe units | 1 accessible unit | Wedding restrooms |
| Festival or tournament | Banks of standard units | 5% accessible, hand wash every 4 | Festival rentals |
| House with plumbing out | Deluxe flushing unit | Extra service visit | Short-term rentals |
| Plant shutdown or utility crew | Standard clusters by shift | Twice-weekly service | Industrial rentals |
When is a unit the wrong choice?
A restroom trailer is the wrong choice when the site has no 110-volt outlet within 100 feet, no hose or no level ground, unless you add a generator. A deluxe flushing unit is wrong for a 300-guest crowd because its fresh-water tank runs out. A standard unit alone is wrong when food is served without handwashing.
- Trailer on a sloped lake lot: leveling jacks have limits. A VIP cabin or deluxe unit often fits better.
- Deluxe units at a large festival: flush water needs refilling, so banks of standard units with hand wash stations serve more people.
- Accessible unit on gravel or deep grass: wheels need a firm route. Plan a plywood path or a paved pad.
- VIP cabin at a jobsite: the interior is built for guests, not muddy boots. Crews do better with standard units.
What comes stocked in every unit?
Every porta potty leaves the Anderson yard with 2 rolls of toilet paper, a hand sanitizer dispenser, fresh blue deodorizer in the tank and a washed interior. Deluxe units add a filled sink and flush tank with soap. Restroom trailers add paper towels, hand soap, mirrors and lighting at each station.
Questions renters ask before booking
Can I mix different unit types on one order?
One order can mix any unit types, and they ride on the same delivery. A common wedding mix is 3 standard units, 1 accessible unit and 1 hand wash station. The quote lists each unit on its own line.
What colors do your units come in?
Standard units come in blue and gray, and we keep pink event units for parties and showers. Ask for a color when you book and we will match it when stock allows.
Which unit is cheapest?
The standard porta potty is the lowest-cost unit, starting at $165 for an event weekend or $155 per 28-day cycle on a jobsite. Hand wash stations start at $95.
Do any of your units have lights inside?
VIP cabins and restroom trailers have interior lighting. Standard and deluxe units use translucent roofs for daylight, so for night events we suggest a battery lantern hung outside or a trailer.
Can I buy a porta potty instead of renting one?
We rent units only, so we can keep every unit on a cleaning and service schedule. Long rentals on 28-day cycles usually cost less than owning once you count pumping and disposal.
Is there a unit with a baby changing table?
Restroom trailers are the best fit when you need a changing area, because they have room and running water. Tell us when you book and we confirm which trailer layout has one.
